Embrace the joy and power of knowledge!
Academic and creative research, writing and English grammar have long been my passion and at the centre of my profession. I have the knowledge, skills, experience and enthusiasm to help school or university students succeed at any level in English Language and Literature as part of the UK curriculum or university programme or for writing assignments in most subjects. I can also help second language speakers improve their general communication and writing skills to meet their specific English learning goals.
In my view, better English goes hand in hand with better study skills. Whatever the topic in whatever subject they are trying to write on, school and university students will derive long-term benefits not just by conquering the concrete problem they are facing. Their language tuition is targeted at developing their task understanding and fulfilment along with research and writing strategies and competencies that will quickly turn them into highly successful problem-solvers, communicators and essay writers. These are advantages, whose importance cannot be overstated. Improved self-confidence and critical thinking ability empower learners to make well-informed decisions in life and set them off on the road to a rewarding career in the field of their choice.
