My background

Hi. I’m Lauren. I have 12 GCSEs at grade A*-C, 3 A levels at grade A-C and a Bachelors degree in both English and Dance. I have experience teaching both English and dance in primary and secondary school settings. I an dedicated to the academic and social development of students and most passionate about aiding and facilitating that development in my professional subject areas.

Experience

I have taught dance in the local community, as after school clubs, in dance schools and as part of the primary and secondary curriculum.

I embarked on a PGCE specialising in secondary English at the beginning of the last academic year where I gained experience teaching the GCSE syllabus in years 10 and 11 and following two different English curriculums for years 7-9.
