Current trainee primary teacher with undergraduate degree in History and International Relations!

My background

I am currently in the process of training to be a primary teacher at the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow, Scotland. I have experience teaching a wide variety of curricular subjects to different ages. Before this, I was a Pupil Support Assistant at a primary school in Edinburgh where I supported pupils across all stages.

I recieved a 2:1 in MA (Hons) History and International Relations from University of Aberdeen in 2016. This allowed me to learn about different historical issues as well as developing my writing and communication skills.

Experience

As a trainee primary teacher, I have worked with Primary 1, Primary 3, Primary 4 and Primary 5. I have taught a wide variety of subjects including maths, literacy, social subjects, PSHE, RME and art.

I am approachable and friendly. I am confident in communicating to children and assisting them with their learning.
