My background

I am a friendly, hard working and determined student, who is passionate about helping other develop their academic skills. I thrive on overcoming obstacles, engaging with critical thinking and logical reasoning to do so. I am both punctual and organised.
My performance in past academic studies also align well with the post, having obtained the highest grades in English Literature at both GCSE and A level. My other A levels (History, Economics and Cambridge Pre-U) also required excellent use of English vocabulary and grammar.

Experience

Whilst at Secondary school, I mentored younger students on a weekly basis, helping them to develop their reading skills and expand their vocabulary. Last summer I was a volunteer at my local library, encouraging primary school students to develop their reading and writing skills in the Summer holidays.
In September, I am due to participate in a community engagement project through University, running workshops in local primary schools and educating them about the Law
