I have a broad interest in the art and architecture of early Modern Europe, having completed my PhD in Art History at the University of York in 2016.
I am happy to tutor university students on any subject related to the Renaissance and the early modern periods (1400-1800).
During my doctoral studies, I served as a Teaching Assistant at the University of York. I taught general courses of history and history of art and architecture as well as the theory of literature and critical readings. After completing my PhD, I hosted several seminars and lectures to BA students and MA students specializing in Early Modern Art and Architecture. Teaching has allowed me to gain valuable experience in planning classes, conducting tutorials, marking papers, and supervising essays.
I have completed a PhD in History of Art at the University of York in 2016. The thesis explored the relationship between materiality and violence in the work of Neapolitan painter Jusepe de Ribera (1591-1652). I later worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Humanities Research Centre of the University of York.
