My background

Hello,
My name is Rose, and I am an MA student at the University of Leeds. My subject is History, but I am also trilingual and have experience teaching core subjects at primary and secondary levels.
I love learning, and my greatest aim with all my students is to instil in them a joy for the subject they are studying.
I am fully up to date with my DBS and ICPC.

Experience

The majority of my teaching experience comes from running a home-school with four wonderful children. My teaching approach is guided by the individual student, and draws from Montessori and Steiner pedagogical modes as well as mainstream curriculum. It has also been informed by my years working for supplementary schools and with young people with specific educational needs.
In addition, I worked as an English teacher for International Baccalaureate at SEK International School in Galicia, Spain.
