31 years old and a very keen sportsman. Play football to semi-professional level and spend the majority of my free time keeping active. Recently moved to Wakefield but still commute to Scunthorpe, which is where I grew up, for work. Like helping people improve and better themselves even if it is in small increments. Our school motto is 'try your best, be nice and you'll do well" which is the ethos I will implement if we work together.
A teacher for over 10 years with experience in a multitude of schools and subjects. Trained as a PE teacher in 2010 and have taught at the Lady Jane Franklin School Pupil Referal Unit and Frederick Gough School since qualifying. Currently Teacher PE, ICT & Media to GCSE level alongside being a Head of Year for the last 5 years.
Prior to teaching I worked as a supply teacher and covered a variety of secondary school subjects in numerous schools. I was also a swimming teacher and hold a numerous sports coaching badges.
Have recieved CPD (training) on mentorship and set up and executed a mentor programme with the class of 2018 to support them through their GCSE exams
