My background

I'm a recent graduate from the University of Edinburgh in Persian. I have always loved history and tailored my university syllabus to reflect this, taking mostly historical modules and writing my dissertation on 19th century Anglo-Iranian relations. In October I will be taking up a place to study International Politics at the Cambridge University. I have fresh experience of the GCSE and A Level History and English syllabuses and specialise in writing structured, logical essays that reflect the demands of the mark scheme.
I also have an A* in A Level in English and As in several university courses on Persian literature in translation and as such can offer tuition for students of GCSE and A Level English.

Experience

Degree level study of history and literature. 6 months teaching experience in secondary school in rural Nepal in English as a second language.

Qualifications

1st with Distinction in Spoken Persian in MA Persian Studies from the University of Edinburgh. A* s in A Level English and Extended Project, As in History, Latin and AS French. 13 A*s at GCSE including History and English.
