Hi I'm Molly. I am 20 years old and I currently study at Cardiff University. My degree is in French and Translation. As I am a third year student, you can imagine that my French grammar skills are now perfected, and I am super excited to help younger students achieve this level of perfection. Throughout my years at school, I found French grammar really hard to learn, so I came up with my own revision games and activities to help understand things better. I would love to help others through my learning resources too. I think it's an advantage to have a tutor who is still young and in higher education themselves, because everything is still fresh and even I still practise my French every day in an academic environment. Another advantage is that a younger tutor can bring more modern techniques, which are better suited to todays generation of young people, with a better understanding of todays society, as well as having advanced skills with technology.
I attended French summer schools throughout my years at primary school. I also completed work experience in a school at the age of 15, followed by another school placement at the age of 16. During my A Levels, I was one of the top achievers in the class, and my teachers often asked me to help them with their Key Stage 3 oral exams (I acted as the examiner), and I was also asked to be the voice of the Key Stage 3 listening exams. More recently, I have just returned home from living in Brittany, France, for 3 months where I only spoke French, and I nannied for twin girls named Margaux and Tess.
A* grade - GCSE French, B grade - A Level French, 2:1 grade - First and Second year grade at Cardiff University. I am on track to achieve a high 2:1 degree, with potential of a 1st Class Honours.
