My background

Michael Taylor hails originally from a beautiful part of England known as the Lake District, renowned for its mountains and lakes. He studied at University in Lancaster and then became a teacher in Higher Education until 2000 when he decided to jump ship and travel to Thailand where he spent the next 10 years as an ESL teacher. Afterwards, he returned to the UK and completed an MBA and returned to HE Lecturing; but also teaches general English courses and moderates speaking examinations in ESL for a UK Examinations Board. He loves reading, speaks Thai and enjoys real ale.
