My background

Hello, I'm Megan! I studied English at the University of Exeter and then went on to study a Masters in Creative Writing at the University of Kent's Paris School of Arts and Culture. I am a warm and friendly teacher with a huge passion for my subject. I believe everyone should have access to great quality learning and it brings me joy to share my knowledge of English with others.

Experience

I have experience working in both Primary and Secondary school environments as a Teaching Assistant. In these roles, I supported students with their English classes and helped them with their reading, writing and listening skills. I have also worked as a one-to-one English tutor, supporting students from the age of 11 all the way to 18.

When living in Paris while studying for my Masters, I taught English as a Second Language to two French children. This was a great experience that tested my ability to teach.
