Hi! I'm Lorna, and I've just graduated from UCL with a first class degree. I'm now going into postgraduate study and so am looking to do some french tutoring on the side. I studied french for years, both at school and at university - I even spent my third year studying at a french university in Montreal and living in a flat of all french-speakers - so I have loads of experience both learning and speaking french! I'm really passionate about the language and jump at any opportunity to speak french, so would love to help you out with whatever aspect of the language it is that you might be struggling with! It's such a beautiful language, and I want everyone to love it as much as I do!
In terms of French qualifications, I took an IGCSE in french, and I studied french at higher level in the International Baccalaureate - I even wrote a 4,000 word extended essay in French. In each of the four years I spent at university I took a french course, finishing with a qualification in French for Professional Purposes, which equates to C2 on the CEFR scale (mastery). I spent my third year of university studying in French at Université de Montréal, where I took normal political science courses in French - so I studied geopolitics of religion, Asian security, and sustainable development (for example) in french.
In terms of teaching, I have taught English as a foreign language to Chinese students, and to a Palestinian refugee, so I have experience teaching languages.
