My background

I am an extremely hard working, reliable and punctual person who works well both independently and as a member of a team. In addition, I am a happy and sociable individual, who is a good communicator. I have excellent organisational skills, which I display through time management, advanced planning and classroom management to provide my learners with an effective learning environment. My classroom practice focuses on my philosophy, that every pupil counts. As a teacher, I believe that it is imperative to create an environment where learners feel safe, nurtured and have a sense of belonging. This creates a positive classroom atmosphere, which results in positive learning experiences. Providing pupils with regular praise and feedback builds confidence and motivates them to perform to the best of their ability. My ambition is to provide the future generation with the skills, knowledge and understanding to become reflective and ambitious participants in twenty first century education. It is my belief that children should be involved in their own learning journeys to ensure value and success is achieved.
