My background

I am am a 25 year old Maths graduate who enjoys teaching and helping others learn. I

An online tutoring service giving extra tuition to students at Primary, Secondary and A Level. From giving extension tasks to those wanting a challenge to helping students catch up on work and reaching their desired target.

I base my classes based on the interests of my students. For example If they enjoy sports I will try to make investigations on topics such as Pythagoras based on football positioning etc. with that, I aim to make each lesson cater for each student I have to give the best learning conditions.

I believe that developing the students understanding and confidence is key to helping them improve in Mathematics and hope that my passion for the Subject comes through.

My lesson structure usually involves some riddles to warm up, followed by some worked examples and understanding and finishing a topic with an investigation.

Experience

One of my A Level Students studying in Year 13 went up two grades in the space of two weeks during their mock exams and all of my students have developed their confidence in Maths being able to ask questions and answer without hesitation.

Qualifications

I am a Mathematics Graduate who got a 2.1 Degree at the University of York.
I have had previous background teaching online lessons to four students individually for the past year and also help teach Martial Arts classes with about 11 Juniors.

I am also a Head Coach at my local martial arts dojo, which involves teaching martial arts to groups of junior and senior students ranged from the age of 4 years and up.
