My background

I am an LSE graduate with a strong background in History and International Relations. I specialise in GCSE and A-Level History and Politics, helping students build exam technique, essay-writing skills, and confidence. I also support students with personal statements and university applications, ensuring their work stands out. My tutoring approach is structured, interactive, and tailored to each student’s needs, with a focus on source analysis, critical thinking, and analytical writing. Lessons are available online and can be scheduled flexibly to fit your routine.

Experience

I have experience supporting students with GCSE and A-Level History and Politics, helping them develop essay-writing skills, exam technique, and confidence. I also assist younger students with personal statement writing and university applications. As part of a community engagement programme, I taught music to a group of 30 children aged 8–10 over one academic term, developing lesson planning, classroom management, and engagement skills. I am also a qualified ski instructor and sailing instructor, which has given me experience in safety, responsibility, and structured instruction, all of which I bring to my tutoring. Additionally, I volunteered with the Leap Community Action Programme in Colombia, supporting school rebuilding projects and children’s learning activities. Lessons are flexible, online, and tailored to each student’s needs.
