My background

I focus on writing across all aspects of the Liberal Arts because if you do not know how to write properly, it won't matter how much you know about your subject, you will not achieve your full potential. It's that simple. I work with students on their writing, emphasizing structure and style, so that they can exhibit their knowledge at their maximum capacity. All I ever ask students is to do their best.

Experience

I am a highly experienced and successful private tutor with a limited number of clients so that each one receives my full attention. I hold a PhD in History and I am a published historian. I have taught students from A-Level to PhD level, sometimes the same student through the whole process, and I have worked with many international students as a private tutor and as an Academic Advisor in the United States. I now live in Scotland but work with students in the UK and Europe, though I am open to working with students anywhere in the world.
