In 2013 I graduated with a First Class degree in BSc (Hons) Geography before I then went on to study MSc Quaternary Science. My particular areas of personal interest lie in landscape change, natural history and navigation. I am really passionate about sharing my love of the outdoors with others of all ages and abilities and I regularly lead outdoor learning workshops for an outdoors community group.
I also have experience writing successful applications not only for universities but also grants and awards and I would be happy to assist with guidance on these.
Netball is another passion of mine and I both coach and play competitively!
From 2015 - 2019 I taught outdoor and history education in my role at Ufton Court Educational Trust, designing and delivering programmes linked to the STEM, geography and history curriculum. I am a conscientious person and passionate about delivering education of the highest quality as I witnessed the profound impact learning had on the personal development of students. I have worked towards gaining status as an Accredited Practitioner of the Institute for Outdoor Learning which I achieved in October 2019. I have completed several in house courses on Safeguarding and Child Protection Level 1, most recently in late 2018 and hold an Enhanced DBS certificate.
