My background

I am a graduate from King's College London with a first class degree in biomedical science now studying medicine at KCL also. I am a keen climber and I work part time as a climbing instructor to all ages and abilities. It was partly through this that I discovered how much I enjoy teaching. Through climbing and teaching climbing I have developed great interpersonal skills and I am also quite at home when it comes to tricky situations and I am no stranger to helping others out of their own tricky situations too.
With my previous and current studies I am most at home teaching biology and biomedical sciences, however I am not limited to these subjects.

Experience

I have acted as a peer mentor while studying which includes academic support to other students who may be finding it difficult. I also have 5 years worth of teaching experience from teaching climbing at the Arch Climbing Wall, here I also act as a climbing instructor and mentor to a young autistic child. I have also taught students studying for GCSEs.
