My background

Hi, I'm Beth and I am currently in my second year of medicine at UCL. Next year I will be completing an iBSc in History and Philosophy of Medicine, which I am really looking forward to.
I normally would spend my summer holidays working in different primary schools as a teaching assistant for a number of agencies. Additionally, I have lots of experience working with children and young people as a volunteer with Whizz Kidz. I have experience in tutoring A-level Biology, GCSE Maths, KS3 English and KS2 and KS3 Maths.
I completed my A-levels at Tiffin Girls' School where I studied English to AS (A) and received A-levels in Chemistry (A*), Biology (A*) and History (A).
I have a patient and warm personality, able to encourage and enthuse the children I am working with to achieve there very best whatever levels they are working at. My academic background allows me to extend the most able students whilst also supporting those who might find learning more challenging.
