My background

I fell in love with English and Literature during high school, because of my teacher. I want to give students the same opportunities to experience the world, and grow in confidence as they learn.
I am a hard working and dedicated individual, who is extremely passionate about what I do. I go above and beyond to ensure that students not only understand, but also stretch and challenge what they know, so that they are able to realise their full potential, and become capable human beings.
In addition, it is always a rewarding experience, learning about different people and culture as this can only make us better both personally and professionally.

Experience

I have been teaching since 2002. I have taught both privately and at publicly at the secondary level in Jamaica, where I prepared students for external exams in which they did exceptionally well.
Since 2015, I have been teaching English and Literature at both the GCSE and Alevel in the UK. Here again, the students have done extemely well.
I am also an external examiner for Literature for one of the examining bodies in the UK.

I believe that with my education, experience and dedication, I will be an asset to your organisation.
