My background

I have a B.Eng (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering from Queen Mary University of London and have been working as a full-time GCSE Physics and Mathematics teacher since 2018. My professional work experience and academic background have equipped me with the skills needed to successfully design and deliver engaging and inspiring lessons to students of all backgrounds. In addition to this, due to my strong educational qualifications and teaching expertise, I possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Over the years, I have excelled in deadline-oriented environments and have equipped myself with analytical, technical, and transferrable skills. Besides getting academic knowledge, these years have also inculcated in me a sense of professionalism, teamwork, and management.

At Roots Millennium Schools, I was successful in increasing the average score for the Physics class by 6% as compared to the previous year. This was made possible by communicating information using my expertise in the subject in a simple and coherent manner and incorporating the use of technology to assist the teaching-learning process. Learners were encouraged to ask questions and for those who lacked the required confidence, I created and shared a folder on Google drive where they could easily post their queries. Furthermore, the drive also gave the learners access to tons of other useful lectures and simulations.
