*Pro Bono Accepted*
I am a physics graduate from the University of Birmingham. As someone who was recently a student I understand how challenging it can be to study mathematical subjects and through my lessons I aim to provide students with the support and guidance they need to succeed.
I have 4 years’ experience teaching maths and physics to individuals and small groups at GCSE, A level, KS3 and degree level standard. This experience has helped me to develop good communication skills and learn the best ways to convey information to students and keep them engaged. I aim to provide a positive learning environment and encourage my students to actively participate in lessons and to share their ideas.
As well as teaching key concepts, I focus on applying knowledge using examples and exam-style questions. By seeing how concepts can be used in practice, my students gain a better understanding of the topics. This approach also helps them to get used to the process of working through maths and physics problems, in preparation for their exams.
