My background

¡Hola! I am Natalia, a Spanish teacher from Murcia, a small region in the sunny South of Spain :)

My love for travelling, communicating with others and learning languages led me to become a passionate and enthusiastic Spanish teacher and I have been teaching Spanish for 10 years to children and adults in Spain, Germany, Hungary and the UK.

I am a qualified teacher in the UK and have been teaching Spanish across London secondary and primary schools for the past 7 years.

In my lessons I use the communicative approach to teach my students how to communicate in real life situations and try to make my lessons as fun and enjoyable as possible.

I adapt the lessons to your needs, and I also have plenty of knowledge teaching students with learning difficulties and Special Education Needs.

Experience

I am a Qualified Spanish teacher with a Master's degree in Spanish as a foreign Language, a BA in Translation and more than 10 years of experience tutoring and teaching children and adults.

I have extensive experience teaching Spanish 1:1 and to groups of up to 15 students online and in person.

I have been teaching Spanish in international and public schools accross London for the past 8 years and I have plenty of knowledge of the UK National Curriculum (GCSE, A LEVELS)

Qualifications

Master's Degree in Spanish as a second language by the University of Alicante, Spain / University of Szeged (Hungary)

Master's Degree in International Cooperation and Economics by the University of Murcia, Spain/ BUAP University of Puebla, Mexico

PGCE (Postgraduate Certificate in Education) specialised in Modern Foreign Languages (German, English, Spanish) by the University of A Coruña, Spain

BA in Translation and Interpretation (German, Spanish, English) by the University of Alicante, Spain / University of Magdeburg-Stendal, Germany / Bishop's University, Canada

Qualified Teacher Status in the UK

DELE examiner for levels C1-C2 by the Instituto Cervantes.
