My background

I am a native speaker of English from the UK. I have many years of experience teaching English as a foreign language, and I possess not only the CELTA, but also the higher level DELTA qualifications.

Experience

I have approximately 6 years of full-time experience teaching IELTS, several years teaching English for Academic Purposes and many years teaching general English and Business English. In addition to my teaching qualifications, I have a bachelor's degree (2:1) in Philosophy from the University of Bristol.

I have taught a variety of nationalities in a variety of locations, from Arabic, Chinese , Korean and Japanese students (mainly taught on University campuses in the UK) to Spanish, Polish and Czech students who I taught in their native countries.

I have taught on University campuses at the University of London, Loughborough University and the University of Brighton. I have also taught in-company at prestigious firms including Google (Poland) and Deloitte (Spain).
