My background

I am an English teacher with 5 + years' experience. I have worked mostly with students from 18 and up. I have taught English to speakers of other languages (ESOL) and literacy (reading and writing skills) to native speakers. I enjoy working with people to make a real difference to their lives and help them achieve their goals.

Experience

I have taught for over 5 years in London and Oxford in a range of settings - adult colleges, community venues and for EFL programmes at a university.

Qualifications

I have a first class degree in History of Art and Literature (University of East Anglia) and a PGCE in post-16 education, specialising in ESOL and literacy teaching (UCL Institute of Education).
