My background

I am a friendly and engaging secondary school teacher currently working as a History teacher and Head of Politics at an Outstanding secondary school in the Brentwood area. I have worked as an examiner for IB, CIE, AQA and Edexcel exam boards.

I am an extremely engaging and passionate teacher who delivers outstanding lessons in both the classroom setting and on a more personal level. I believe strongly in tailoring my approach and resources to the needs of the individual student, an approach that has been very effective in attaining the highest grades for my students.

I have developed a large number of excellent resources that are freely available to my students and provide an excellent follow-up service where I mark students` essays for additional feedback.

Experience

I am a fully qualified secondary school teacher currently employed at a state school, attaining an Outstanding rating during the most recent Ofsted inspection at my school.

I have worked for IB, CIE, AQA and Edexcel exam boards as an examiner in both History and Politics.
