My background

Hello! I am an MA student studying Specialist Journalism, and I work as Teaching Assistant. I find it so rewarding helping children learn new things and develop into themselves. I want to be able to help children through this pandemic by helping them through their education. Everyone is struggling at the moment, and not just in their life but in their educations too. Children have missed out on a substantial amount of their education, and they need support to get caught back up, and I want to help them achieve this.

Experience

I have a Bachelor's degree in English and Creative Writing, and I am earning a Master's degree in Specialist Journalism. I have multiple GCSEs, including English, Welsh, Mathematics, and Triple Science. I also have three A Levels; in English Literature and Health and Social Care Double Award. During the first lockdown, my sister was completing her GCSEs and I assisted her in doing so. I currently work as a Teaching Assistant through an agency, but due to the schools being closed I am not currently working. I look forward to returning to this job as helping the children develop is extremely rewarding and knowing that I was able to help them learn and develop makes me feel as though I achieve something every day that I work.
