My background

I am an undergraduate at the University of Birmingham studying Human Biology BSc. I have an A* in GCSE Biology, as well as a 6 in Higher Level Biology in the International Baccalaureate (approximately A/A* as an A level equivalent). My aim for tutoring is to help secondary school students to complete online work during lockdown, and give extra help/guidance for topics that may not be as well understood.
I am an organised, punctual and patient person with a passion for education, looking into doing a teaching qualification in the future.

Experience

My experiences include tutoring in Biology as well as Music for younger students. I am also part of the Women in Science outreach at University, which involves going into schools and carrying out experiments with girls, teaching them the biological significance of what is being done. My qualifications and knowledge also give me suitable experience to give lessons in Biology.

Qualifications

GCSEs - 7 A* and 5 A, including Triple Science, English Literature and Language, Maths, Geography, History, RS, Music, French and Media Studies
International Baccalaureate - 39 points overall including 7, 6, 6 in Higher Level subjects Music, Psychology and Biology
