My background

Engineering Student at Imperial College London offering Maths and Physics tutoring up to GCSE.
I enjoy teaching Mathematics and Physics. I teach any age up to GCSE, including 11+ and Common Entrance. I focus on gaining a core understanding of principles rather than memorisation or rote learning. I like to get to know the student and make the lessons fun for both of us! I am DBS checked.

Experience

I am a second year Design Engineering student at Imperial College London and achieved a 2:1 for the previous academic year. I achieved an A* in Mathematics, A in Physics and A* in Art at A level. I was a teaching assistant for 4 years at New London Synagogue, leading and assisting during group activities. I spent a year helping a boy with severe learning difficulties.

New London Synagogue • 2015 - 2019

National Finalist, Weizmann Competition • 2018
Designed and built a safe to be cracked with Physics puzzles over 4 months. Came 2nd in National finals and attended International competition in Israel and received Gold Crest Award for work.

Coding
Can code in Python, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, SQL – and coded my own website.

Adobe Suite
Very competent in Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign.

CAD Software
Design complex parts using Fusion 360, performing flow, velocity and pressure analysis in Solid Works.

Design
Skilled in all stages of design from user research, to ‘how might we’ statements, to prototyping and testing.
