My background

GCSE Maths and Science Tutor
Having achieved 11 A*s at GCSE, A*AAA at A Level and a current medical student, I am aware of exactly what is required to excel in examinations. My core focus involves ensuring detailed coverage of the specification which is tailored to the exam board and ensuring thorough exam practice to ensure those top grades are achieved. Several years of mentoring and tutoring students has given me sufficient practice and I aim to explain in a clear and precise manner to allow for better understanding. Regarding feedback from my previous tutees, I have always been praised on my emphasis on exam technique and use of past papers and mark schemes.
I can also provide advice with medical applications, personal statements and interviews.

Experience

Having volunteered at a refuge centre for over a year, I worked with children and their mothers so have thoroughly refined my interpersonal skills. I am determined and committed to provide utmost support and will always be patient and ensure complete understanding of a topic before moving on.
I have been home tutoring for several years now and have gained experience in this field.
