I am a PhD researcher, specialising in veterinary clinical sciences, biomarker research and nutrition. Before starting my PhD, I graduated with a First-Class Master’s degree in Biological Sciences.
I am able to teach biology and chemistry up to GCSE and A-level, as well as support students with broader biological science topics, research skills and scientific writing. My academic background has given me strong experience in molecular biology, physiology, immunology, nutrition and laboratory-based science.
I am a friendly, caring and approachable tutor who enjoys helping students build confidence and achieve their goals. I aim to adapt my teaching style to each learner’s needs, making lessons clear, supportive and engaging.
I have experience tutoring Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics and 11+ preparation, with students successfully gaining places at grammar schools. I have also volunteered as a Maths mentor and taught Panjabi to learners of different ages and abilities.
At university, I have been a Student Representative, working with staff and students to support and improve the academic experience.
