My background

I have worked for many years as a programmer, analyst and project manager in the manufacturing and media scetors. In these roles I carried out a considerable amount of training. I have been studying with the Open University for the last 11 years which gives me great insight into the challanges faced by students as they learn and, particularly, as they prepare for their examinations.

Experience

I have been privately tutoring maths, physics, chemistry and combined science at GCSE level and Maths at A'Level for about four years with the majority of my students able to improve on their mocks by 2-3 grades, provided they are prepared to put in the work. I am very familiar with the new GCSE science sylabus

Qualifications

I have first class degrees in Mathematics and Physical Science both from the Open University and I also studied Chemistry at the University of Southampton. I am currently working towards a Masters in Applied Mathematics.
