My background

Hi I'm Ben and I am currently a 4th year Dentistry student at Cardiff University.
At both GCSE and A level I achieved an A* in Mathematics, with me also taking part in the junior and senior maths challenges. As I also achieved A*s in Chemistry and Biology at A level I can apply my skills to these other subjects, and teach students how to do the same.
I am extremely hard-working and am used to tutoring students as I ran a subject specific revision club for younger years at my secondary school as well as tutoring my sister for her GCSE maths and science exams (she achieved 8/9 in all subjects). Because of this I am up to date with the new GCSE 9-1 specifications.

Experience

Depending on the predicted grades and year group of the students I will compile a number of example questions based on past papers. A lesson will be given detailing a certain topic and working through a number of examples. At the end of the session a worksheet will be given for the student to complete before the next session. The worksheet can either be emailed before the next session for me to review, or checked through at the start of the session.
