My background

As a professional educator, I have taught students with English Language needs for the past three years. I can support and develop positive relationships with students to effectively identify their learning needs and help them reach their goals.
I am a positive and empathetic individual with a passion for ensuring all students have equal opportunities in their education. I thoroughly enjoy teaching and exploring the minds of children and their creative views on life. I enjoy making learning fun and exciting for children to encourage them to always strive for more.

Experience

Whilst living in Milan I was working at an International school, working with students aged 5-12 years who have a limited level of English as a second language, in order to improve their listening, reading and writing skills, and support their overall learning within the school. Working closely with Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator to support students with both their language and learning disabilities. Creating personalised lesson plans and curriculum tailored to each pupil. Checking and assessing each student's progress in their core subjects and in EAL lessons.
Before this, I was an English Tutor, which involved, assisting children with their homework and activities in English in order to improve on their language skills. Planning and teaching lessons on a weekly basis dependent on the needs of the student. Embracing their culture and sharing my own to build exciting learning opportunities.

Trinity School ?/ GCSE- 8 Achieved at A-D

Currently working towards Level 3 Teaching assistant and SEN

120 hours Masters in TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language)

300+ hours Masters in TEFL through theatre and play
