My background

Hi everybody,
My name is Issy and I am a first year English Language and Linguistics at King's College London. I am a patient and well-spoken individual and am confident in my ability to work with children. I always remember that every child is unique and it is my job to ensure that every student feels confident in what they do, and are ready to tackle the exams they need to sit. I am super friendly, and I hope that I can work with you in the future :)

Experience

-5 years working as a student dance teacher at local dance school (gained Pre-Associate Teaching Qualification-IDTA), taught students aged 3-18 in a multitude of dance styles
-2 years as a Personal Assistant to a family with 2 autistic children- worked very closely with the family, supporting both the mother and the children. Ensured that both children were as happy and healthy as possible, playing with them, cooking for them and supporting them through their emotional meltdowns.
-'Coach' and 'Head Coach' at 'CoachBright' tutoring company. Online 1-1 or 1-2 tutoring with GCSE English students. As a head coach I oversee a cohort of coaches for a particular school to ensure everything runs smoothly.
