Introducing Irene

My background

My name is Irene and I live in a town called Ayr in Scotland. I am married and have three children. In my free time I enjoy watching movies, cooking and taking my dog for long walks on the beach or in the countryside.
I have loads of patience and I'm very understanding, as I do realise that learning English can be really tricky! I speak clearly and have a neutral accent, so my voice is easy to understand. I like my classes to be relaxed and fun and don't want anyone to be afraid of making mistakes - they are the best way to learn!

Experience

I currently work as a play leader at a Breakfast and After-School Club in a local primary school during term time. It's lots of fun working with children aged from 3 to 12 years of age, but I equally enjoy working with adults.
I teach conversation classes over the telephone and/or on Skype and have been doing this over the past few months. These classes are on a one-to-one basis.
