My background

Something I have always wished to do is to help others. Being able to share knowledge with others and gain a lot in return, excites me. Seeing people being happy and knowing I was the reason for their happiness, is something I always dreamt of.

I have a strong desire for teaching. Being interested in a lot of foreign tv shows, films and music, I knew that languages would be the area I would like to teach in. I recently completed a TEFL 120 hour certificate and would love to put the knowledge I have gained from studying, into practice, gain valuable experience, and become who I have always wished to become.

What I would bring to the role are my best qualities, kindness, patience, optimism and always having a smile on my face.

Experience

I have volunteer experiences of helping out in a nursery and a primary school. Those experiences opened my eyes to the world of teaching and gave me a desire to want to teach. Seeing the teachers at the primary school teaching, and seeing the children's joy and happiness about learning new things, made me happy and motivated. I have two nephews who are of primary school age. Asking them about what they have learned at school, and seeing them talk happily and positively about their teachers further adds to the passion and desire that I have to help others, specifically, through teaching.
