I am currently a student at the University of Cambridge where I read a degree called Anglo-Saxon, Norse and Celtic; which combines History, English and Medieval Languages and Linguistics together. I was awarded a scholarship based on my academic merit in the subject. Moreover, I also work as an English teacher for French students who want to learn English for a variety of reasons, from travelling to business, and have taught all ages groups. Thus, my expertise ranges from Ancient History to English as a foreign language.
Moreover, I am only 20 and did my GCSEs when the Government first introduced the number system and having completed A-Levels only a year ago I have a fresh and up-to-date perspective on what I will be teaching. At GCSE level I achieved 3 9s (English Language and Literature and Mathematics), 5 A*s and 2 As and at A-Level I achieved A*s in English Literature and History, an A in Philosophy and a B in German. At school, I was tasked with helping GCSE English students break through to the higher grades.
