My background

I am a Year 13 student who is studying, Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Chemistry at Langley Park School for Boys, and I am looking to study Engineering at Durham University. I have the role of School Captain meaning I am friendly, organised, will listen to and I am understanding towards people. I use these skills and hardworking attitude to overcome problems where ever that is; in the classroom, tutoring a student or on the rugby pitch. Outside of the classroom I play Rugby for my school where I am vice-captain as well as being captain for my local Rugby team Beckenham. I also have a black belt in Ju-Jitsu. My ambition to become an Engineer means I have strategical problem-solving skills and I am passionate about and specialise in teaching Maths and Science (particularly Physics and Chemistry), where I achieved a grade 9 in each at GCSE's. This allows me to easily explain and break down these subjects when teaching as I have a in depth knowledge and understand how to apply this knowledge in taking and preparing for exams.
