My Background

Languages are so important and such a huge benefit, I show pupils that anyone can learn a language. I have always loved languages and I demonstrate this through my lessons. For me, learning a language helps you truly connect with people and cultures. As Nelson Mandela rightly said, “If you talk to a man in a language he understands, that goes to his head. If you talk to him in his language, that goes to his heart.” I hope to show pupils that learning languages is achievable, beneficial and fun. I originally teach English as a foreign language to children and adults but currently teach Spanish in secondary school. I can offer English and Spanish tutoring.
