My background

I am about to enter my third year of History at Northumbria University with the aim to then gain a PGCE so that I can become a teacher of either History, English, Business or Law or an amalgamation of all 4. I can fit around most people’s schedules and I aim to help with whatever learning technique the student both benefits and enjoys depending on their learning style; whether it is key cards, games, quizzes, or simply going over the content.

Experience

I was a mentor for a student in my sixthform as well as becoming a volunteer mentor for the Charity organisation Success4All since March. Admittedly, I don’t hold a lot of experience as an educator but I feel I more than make up for this with my motivation.

Qualifications

Business CTEC level 3- Distinction*
Access to HE: Humanities with Law- 42 Credits at Dist, 3 at Merit, 15/15 ungraded passed.
(this is a course fitting History, Law, and English alevels into one of which i was only 3 credits from gaining 100%)
BA History Hons Degree- expected grade of 2:1. Averaging 65 on assignments.
