My background

I have been a primary school teacher for 7 years and love my job. I have experience in all years but specialise in years 5 and 6. I have an in-depth understanding of the national curriculum and use a variety of strategies to teach, embed and consolidate key skills to my students.

I am a mother to 2 children and appreciate the importance of a quality education for all pupils. This is what I aim to provide to every child I teach.

I’m a friendly, supportive teacher and tutor with high expectations.

Experience

As well as being an experienced teacher, I have tutored for at least 6 years ranging from early phonics and maths up to SATs preparation and 11+.

I really enjoy tutoring 1:1 and love that I can gain a clear understanding of an individuals needs, gaps and next steps in a short amount of time and I am able to plan engaging activities to support rapid progress.
