Due to the school shutdown it might feel like a long time since you've done any school work, but don't worry! Now more than ever some extra tutoring will go a long way if you're heading in to year 12 or 13 (lower or upper sixth).
My approach involves getting to know where the gaps in your understanding are even if you're not exactly sure. I can then work with you to help you understand what you're having trouble with and give problems some context, helping you understand why it is you're learning them.
As a student who did not plan on studying maths beyond A-level, I recognise that one of the most challenging aspects of maths is that it isn't always easy to see how it applies to the real world. Studying economics and doing a placement year in the finance industry has however shown me the practical applications of much of the maths I learnt at A-level. I believe using this insight to frame mathematical concepts within their real world applications can not only help provide clarity but also the motivation and desire to understand seemingly abstract concepts.
In addition to this, as I have recently experienced what it is like to be an A-level student, I can also help with revision methods and learning techniques that help you get to the core of what exam boards want you to know.
