My tutorials reflect the needs of the student so every tutorial is different. Learning 'the tools of the trade' is important and younger students tend to spend much of their time doing this, reinforcing whatever they are learning or struggling with, in school. As a student nears year 11, I like to use questions from past papers as examples, so that students become relaxed with the format of questions and can recognise clues in the questions which will help them gain marks even if they can't complete everything perfectly.
I don't expect students to love maths as much as I do, but I aim to make the process of learning enjoyable and painless!
