My background

Hello, I am Annabel and I am currently in my gap year between studying Economics at Durham Uni and working as a Consultant in London.

During my Gold DofE volunteering and over lockdown, I have gained experience in tutoring GCSE maths for a range of different abilities. I was proud to help one of my pupils achieve 2 grades higher when he retook his GCSE maths!

I have been tutoring other students since the start of lockdown in April and am looking to take more on.

Experience

I find the best way to conduct lessons is to work through past papers. This way, the pupil gains confidence not only in the maths itself, but the style of question that they will be asked on the day of the exam. This is the technique that I believe helped me get A*s in GCSE Maths, GCSE Further Maths and A Level Maths.

I personally did AQA and OCR maths boards at school but have tutored a range of others seeing as the content is similar.
