My background

Hi! My name is Amy and I'm an English tutor from Nottingham, England. I have been teaching for five years in total with 2 of those years being spent teaching online. I love online work as it gives me the opportunity to meet different people from all around the world and learn about various countries and communities. I feel that this method of teaching has helped me grow on a professional and personal level. In my spare time I like to read, write poetry and travel. I have been to some very interesting places, the latest being Budapest, Hungary. It it one of the most beautiful European cities I have visited! The two most important things to me as a teacher are that all sessions are relevant to the individual learner and that you have fun. It doesn't matter what age you are or what level you are working at, if you can relate to the content and you are having fun, you are much more likely to absorb the new information and be able to use it in the future.
