My background

I have just finished my first year of studying Economics at the University of Cambridge and want to start tutoring students for Maths at GCSE and A-Level! When I was studying for these exams myself I would often help my friends whenever they struggled in the subject so I know what parts of the course people find difficult. I studied the new specification for both the GCSE and A-Level Maths courses so I am up to date with all of the topics that students need to know for their exams.

Experience

When I was at school I was an Economics Prefect and one of my roles was to help organise revision sessions for struggling students. I helped them with improving their knowledge and exam technique and therefore was able to work on effectively communicating in order to help them improve as much as possible.

I don't have any organised tutoring experience in Maths yet however, I sat the exams very recently and remember the learning and revision techniques that I used as well as the problems that many of my friends would face. Therefore, I will be able to help you to improve your knowledge in any areas of the course you need as well as provide good advice regarding revision resources and exam technique.
