My background

I am currently a first year accounting and finance student at the London School of Economics and Political Sciences. Prior to university, I studied A-Level Mathematics, Economics and Accounting at an institution named Aditya Birla World Academy in India, wherein I received an A* grade in each of the three subjects. While helping my friends prepare for the exams, I realised I was a good communicator and was able to explain concepts in a simple and effective manner. This led me to intern at a popular tuition centre located near my house, where I taught the IGCSE subjects of Mathematics and Additional Mathematics. At the same time, I also volunteered at a non-governmental organisation named Akansha which provides education to underprivileged children. I am now working with an organisation named Kindness Advantage ltd in London, where I assist a tutor in teaching students with disabilities such as dyslexia.

Experience

Having studied these concepts recently, had helped me identify the areas of a topic that a student is likely to find more difficult and the way in which they are best explained. I have noticed the students of differing abilities are comfortable with my style of teaching as I try to convey information in a manner that is not too fast paced but yet interesting.
