A very friendly, informal tutor who offers a range of academic subjects, but particularly enjoys helping students prepare for exams such as the 11-Plus, SATs and independent school entrance examinations. I'm patient and encouraging, so ideal for students who are nervous or lack confidence.
I've been tutoring for about 5 years now, initially 1-2-1 in students' homes, progressing to small groups and now online.
Any queries, please don't hesitate to ask!
I've taken the Mensa test, and can report that the questions are not dissimilar in style and principle to those in 11-Plus papers. Preparing for such exams makes a pleasant change for me after tutoring in "academic" subjects (although I'm happy to offer these subjects if asked).
