My background

I am currently a Master student studying in University of Portsmouth. I come from Malaysia, and I am able to speak 3 languages: Chinese, English and Malay. I believe communication is the key for language learning, regardless of what you want to learn, how do you want to learn, and why you want to learn the language. Experience

I studied the Bachelor of Education: Teaching English as a Second Language (TESL) in University of Malaya in Malaysia. During these 4 years, I have learnt a lot about teaching as a profession. After I graduated, I taught in a nursery school for primary students for around 6 months. After that, due to an accidental opportunity, I entered into a trading company and start working there for 1.5 year. I perceive myself as a curious and passionate person. That's why I was willing to enter into the trading company and I really learnt a lot there. However, deep inside me, I know I love teaching and I hope that will be my life-time career.
